Our Club's 85th Anniversary

THE FARIBAULT LIONS CLUB WAS CHARTERED ON OCTOBER 11, 1921

   On Wednesday, October 11, 2006 we joined with our neighboring Lions, THE NORTHFIELD LIONS CLUB, as we both celebrated our Charter Year Anniversaries! The Faribault Club was chartered on this night 85 years ago, followed by the Northfield Lions Club which was chartered on October 24, 1921.

Our Guest Speaker was none other than PID Ross Thorfinnson!

THANK YOU TO ALL WHO ATTENDED
 THIS GREAT CELEBRATION!
During this evening we took some time to remember our beginnings
and reminisce about the past, but MORE IMPORTANTLY, we focused on
our mission of the FUTURE. PID Ross gave us great reasons to be
PROUD TO BE LIONS and to accept the tremendous challenge that
has been presented to us in the form of Campaign SightFirst II.
This challenge will be a great test of our motto, WE SERVE.
